Greenback Cutthroat Volunteer Opportunities

Alpine Anglers coordinates and provides volunteer support to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in support of fisheries conservation and native Greenback Cutthroat Trout restoration in Rocky Mountain National Park. Volunteers are needed in the field to help collect fish via electro-fishing and by "hook and line sampling." Some projects are close to the road; others require significant hiking to lakes and streams or even multi-day backpacking. Volunteers not only contribute to important conservation programs, they get to experience some of the most spectacular country in RMNP.
